Absolute Beginner's Tango Class (Beg. Level) Learn to dance the authentic Argentine tango in a fun and easy way! No partners required. No dance experience necessary. This is the class for you, if you: - Are an absolute beginner excited to learn the Argentine tango. - Have taken tango classes before but like to review the materials. - Have two left feet & have never danced before, - Or just want to have fun and meet people! Tango: Boleo Sequences (Int./ Adv. Level) We will start the new year with 8 weeks of material dedicated just for Boleos!
Boleos (or voleos) in tango are
swivel and return of the free leg around the weighted leg with a
whipping action. Boelos are beautiful, fun and satisfying to do.
it is a cool way to link the dance as directional changes.
Topics included in this 8-week series are front & rear boleos,
high & low boleos, linear boelos, leader's boleos, boelo

Tango: Rhythmic Steps (Int./ Adv. Level) Tony & Ilana would like to share many fun rhythmic tango steps that are excellent for social dancing! We will explore double time rhythm, syncopas, and music phrasing to interpret the rhythmic orchestras. In addition to the steps, we will also cover the skill of navigation and the essence of the close embrace tango. This is one of our most popular classes. Don't miss it!
